Job summary

ECE Subhub is seeking an Early Childhood Substitute Teacher to support classrooms serving children from birth to 5 years old. You will work weekdays with a flexible schedule aligned to our classrooms, ensuring a safe, engaging environment and following lesson plans.

Ideal candidates have experience with young children and relevant education credentials, including a CDA or higher, and are ready to contribute to a supportive team in a part-time to full-time role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children from birth through age 5.
• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, or Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement.

Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

ECE Subhub is hiring Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 0 to 5. We work with your availability to build a weekday schedule.

What you will do

You will work alongside early childhood teams to help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with classroom activities and daily routines
• Helping implement lesson plans
• Supervising children to keep them safe
• Building positive relationships with children and staff
• Maintaining a warm and professional classroom presence

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet one or more of the following:

• Experience working with children from birth through age 5
• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development
• Current CDA credential

Preferred: CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time to full-time
• Pay: $15 to $22 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm
• Minimum availability: At least two weekdays per week
