Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Job Summary: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning stations and curriculum that enhance the abilities and competencies of district preschoolers in social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development.

Job Duties Include:

1. Conduct group and individual activities using developmentally appropriate practices for 3-4 year olds in a preschool program.
2. Complete and implement daily and weekly lesson plans.
3. Set up classroom and materials to support student learning in alignment with Teaching Strategies objectives.
4. Perform child assessments and observations to document learning and progress.
5. Participate in program and district staff meetings and professional development.
6. Other duties as assigned.

This is a 1.0 FTE position for the 2025-2026 school year.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree.
• Valid MN teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education.
• Valid MN Driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children.
• Knowledge of child development concepts and practices.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.

Salary Range: $46,678 to $83,466.
