Job summary

Career Links is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher for a long-term substitute in a co-taught preschool classroom serving ages 3–5. The assignment runs January 2027 through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a Minnesota ECSE license, a bachelor's degree in education or related field, and a passion for inclusive early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate instruction to preschool students with disabilities.

• Support students' communication, social‑emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive development.
• Monitor student progress and document services and outcomes.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with families and related service providers as appropriate.
• Meet applicable school district background check and employment requirements.

• Support students' communication, social‑emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive development.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and educational outcomes.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers as appropriate.
• Valid Minnesota Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teaching license
• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Knowledge of early childhood development, special education practices, and inclusive classroom instruction.
• Ability to implement IEPs and collaborate effectively within a co‑taught classroom.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to meet applicable school district background check and employment requirements.
