Job summary

JCC Association of North America is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Site Director to manage the daily operations of their preschool program. Responsibilities include guiding staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and fostering a nurturing environment for children and families.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, a NYS Teaching Certificate, and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Jewish culture and Hebrew language skills are preferred. This full-time position offers a salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of documented experience as a group teacher in an early childhood setting.
• Prior leadership experience in an early childhood, nursery, or preschool setting required.
• Familiarity with Jewish culture and Hebrew language skills is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery/preschool site.
• Supervise, support and guide teachers and classroom staff.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, licensing, and safety requirements.
