Asheville Waldorf School is seeking an Early Childhood Rest Nest Teacher for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. The position focuses on guiding four to seven-year-old children through rest time and a gentle afternoon routine within a Waldorf-inspired setting.

Hours are 11:30am-3:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The candidate should bring Waldorf pedagogy knowledge and experience with young children to foster a warm, calming classroom presence.

Asheville Waldorf School is seeking an Early Childhood Rest Nest Teacher to join our school faculty for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge or training in Waldorf pedagogy and experience working with children ages 4-7. This teacher will imbue a warm, calming presence and a firm yet gentle discipline with which to guide the children through rest time and an afternoon out-breath.
