Job summary

The Children's Cabinet, Inc. is seeking a Resource & Referral Specialist to provide child care referrals, consultation, and support to families across the state.

The role includes recruitment and retention of licensed providers, registration assistance for FFN and OST providers, and management of the child care subsidy wait list. Candidates should understand early childhood education, licensing regulations, and family needs; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood education practices across care settings.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.
• Strong parenting concepts and family supports.
• Understand state child care licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide child care referrals and enhanced referrals using database programs.
• Assist families in selecting child care by providing information on quality options and referrals.
• Assist parents and providers in navigating resources and supports that meet their needs.
• Register and support FFN and licensed providers for the child care subsidy program.
