Assistant for Early Childhood After School Program

St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible assistant for our Early Childhood After School Program for the 2026-2027 school year, working with children ages 2–5. The ideal candidate is nurturing, responsive, and flexible, with an understanding of the developmental needs of young children. This role offers college or community college students the chance to gain active, hands‑on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. Start date is around August 3, 2026.

Position Details

• Hours: 2:00–5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (flexible to two or more consistent days)
• Hourly, non‑exempt
• Pay rate: $16 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines such as arrival, dismissal, transitions, and snack time
• Supervise outdoor and indoor play, encouraging positive peer interactions
• Support program activities aligned with our whole‑child approach
• Help maintain a safe and nurturing environment
• Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and families
