The Irvine Unified School District is seeking a dedicated preschool classroom teacher to provide instruction and care for preschool-aged children. The role involves developing lesson plans tailored to children's needs and maintaining relevant records. Candidates should have a valid California Child Development Teacher Permit and experience in early childhood education.

Job Description / Essential Elements :
Under the supervision of the Principal or Assistant Principal, the preschool classroom teacher serves children of preschool age by providing instruction, care, and assistance at a designated child care center. Responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans and instructional activities tailored to children's needs, and preparing and maintaining relevant records and reports.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in early childhood education, including 24 units in Early Childhood Education and at least one year of educational experience working with preschool-aged children. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
