At Sprout, we believe small teacher to child ratios are important. As a Pre-School teacher, you will be a part of the three teacher team. The Teachers are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teacher's must operate as a team player and must be flexible to allow the Specialists to visit. At Sprout, we believe in educating the whole child. We have invested in a daily Specialist that comes into each classroom to teach Language Arts. Weekly, we have Dance and Yoga teachers visit each room. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
