Job summary

Gymboree Play & Music Rochester is seeking part-time instructors to lead parent-child programs for ages 0-5. You’ll facilitate classes, plan activities, and help families engage with Gymboree curriculum.

Responsibilities include delivering three core program types, teaching birthdays monthly, meeting sales goals, and representing the brand at events and in-store activities. Training is provided; a friendly, flexible team player is essential to our success and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 0–5 preferred.
• Strong group leadership and customer service skills.
• Flexible and reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities across Gymboree classes, Music, and Arts.
• Teach at least two birthday parties per month.
• Plan lessons according to Gymboree curriculum.
• Achieve sales goals by promoting enrollments, merchandise, and events.
• Answer calls, greet customers, and assist with inquiries.
• Assist with off-site events and grassroots activities.
• Operate PlayWeb and attend staff meetings/trainings.
• Maintain site standards: cleaning, stocking, pricing merchandise, and equipment changes.
