Job summary

Gymboree Play & Music Rochester is seeking part-time staff to lead parent-child activities, teach Gymboree classes, and support events. Responsibilities include facilitating age-appropriate play, music, and art sessions, plus helping with birthday parties and sales of enrollments and merchandise.

Starting pay is $12.00 per hour, with a flexible weekday/weekend schedule. Training is provided, and employees enjoy free classes and product discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children newborn to 5 years.
• Solid group leadership skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs and move play equipment.
• Clean, physical appearance and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities across Gymboree programs.
• Teach a minimum of two birthday parties per month.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with Gymboree curriculum.
