Job summary

Auburn-Washburn USD 437 is seeking a Title 1 paraeducator to support a special education teacher in small groups or one-on-one settings. The position is 3.5 hours per day for 9 months per year, with wages determined by experience.

Job Description

To assist the special education teacher in working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels commensurate with their capabilities.

Salary: $13.73-$19.98/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)

Terms of Employment: 3.5 hours/day, 9 months/year

Qualifications

Pauline Central Primary, Pauline South Intermediate, and Wanamaker Elementary are Title 1 Schools.

Title 1 Paraeducators must have one of the following:

1. 1) Associate's Degree from an Accredited University
2. 2) Minimum of 48 College Credit Hours from an Accredited University
3. 3) Successful Completion of the Para Test

*available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week
