Job summary

The Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana in Lafayette, LA seeks a Mental Health and Development Clinician to support young children and their families through CPP-based home visiting. You will partner with a Care Coordinator to deliver relational, dyadic psychotherapy and family-focused care, with supervision and ongoing training opportunities.

Ideal candidates are licensed or license-eligible masters-level mental health providers, with experience with diverse families, strong writing

Qualifications

Licensed or license-eligible master’s level mental health provider.
Experience providing psychotherapy with diverse families (0–5 years preferred).
CPP training or experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Engage with families using Child Parent Psychotherapy and other modalities.
Collaborate with Care Coordinator to develop Plan of Care.
Provide home-based mental health interventions for young children and caregivers.
Support families in crisis and coordinate with supervisor.
Conduct mental health assessments and consult in early care settings.
Participate in reflective supervision and team trainings.
Maintain documentation for accountability and reimbursement.
Engage in ongoing data entry and learning collaborative activities.
