Save the Children seeks an Advisor I, Program Mental Health to oversee the mental health content area across Head Start programs. This role partners with the Senior Advisor, Mental Health and the Program Director to ensure services align with Head Start standards and ADA requirements, promoting positive mental health outcomes for children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and licensed in state mental/behavioral health.
• Experience providing mental and behavior health services.
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Strong administrative, fiscal accountability, and public relations skills.
• Experience building relationships with young children, families, and staff.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals and teams at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Implement mental health program policies and support staff delivering high-quality service.
• Visit sites and conduct classroom observations, provide training and coaching.
• Discuss strengths and recommendations after observations to improve environment.
• Facilitate behavior guidance processes and ensure required reports are completed.
• Coordinate with program director to develop training and ensure quality services.
• Develop and maintain network of mental health providers for families.
