Summary & Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and implementing curriculum goals and standards, providing mentorship to teachers, and ensuring classroom quality. Duties include leading instruction, developing schedules, assessing educational programming, maintaining best practices, managing classroom environment, supporting diversity, overseeing transitions, and facilitating intervention services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least two years of experience, preferably in a Reggio Emilia Inspired Program.
• At least three years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
• Knowledge of State Department of Education standards and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse cultures.
• Respect and promote the interests of The Salvation Army, supporting its mission.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in Early Childhood, preferably in a Reggio Emilia Inspired Program.
• Experience in a School Readiness program.
