Job description

Asheville Waldorf School is seeking an Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our school faculty starting in January for the remainder of the 2024/25 school year.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have completed their Waldorf Early Childhood Training and have experience as a teacher in a Waldorf classroom. Teachers new to Waldorf education are also welcome, if they have a serious interest in developing themselves as a Waldorf teacher. We seek teachers with a deep understanding of child development, an interest in Anthroposophy, a love of working with young children, and the enthusiasm and energy to be involved in the growth of a pioneering school.
