Job summary

Acelero Learning seeks an Early Childhood Assessor to conduct language, literacy, and math assessments in South Carolina, with travel to Aiken/Barnwell Counties. The LTE conducts 3–4 assessments per child, scores, and records data, typically in school settings.

The role requires independent transportation, a background check, and strong written and verbal communication. This is a temporary research/assessment position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or active enrollment preferred.
  • Strong background in child development or related fields.
  • Experience with data collection and teaching children preferred.
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with Google Suite and basic data management.

Responsibilities

  • Completes company training on administering assessments.
  • Spends 8-14 days in each assessment period in our schools.
  • Administers the assessments.
  • Scores assessments, enters data online, and submits them via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
  • Participates in assigned meetings, events, and training as required.
  • Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
