Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in or relating to early childhood education, elementary education, special education, or a related field.
• Experience in instructional coaching or related role with teaching staff.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience with children ages 0-5, including those with disabilities or behavior concerns.

Responsibilities

• Model HCDE and Head Start's mission, vision, and values.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integration and consistent delivery of all Head Start services.
• Provide targeted feedback to teachers based on data and assessment information.
• Model lessons and coach using methods such as co-planning, modeling, and video reflection.
• Deliver regular professional development through observation feedback, lesson plan feedback, and workshops.
