Early Childhood In-Building Guest Teacher

Location: Thornton, CO

Position Details:

• Daily Rate: $185 per day
• Full health, dental, and life insurance benefits based on a 40-hour workweek

Summary: Provide classroom support for early childhood education on a full-time basis at a dedicated school within Adams 12 Five Star Schools. The substitute will be assigned daily to support preschool through 1st grade classes as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver instructional activities
2. Create a positive educational climate for students
3. Utilize curriculum resources and technologies to enhance learning
4. Manage student behavior and implement appropriate strategies

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Educator License or a substitute authorization (1, 3, or 5-year)
• Criminal background check required
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months of employment
• Standard Precautions training within 1 month of employment
