Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (Michigan).
• Minimum three years’ nursing experience with pediatric health.
• Knowledge of private, Medicare and Medicaid procedures.

Aufgaben

• Manage children’s health and nutrition records including immunizations, health home, dental home, behavioral health needs, and daily nutrition.
• Coordinate health screenings and identify high-risk children to ensure a healthy, safe environment.
• Collaborate with Family Engagement Specialist to refer families to community partners.
• Coordinate service integration to support healthy Blueprint outcomes for children and families.
• Develop and deliver professional development and training for early childhood staff.
• Coordinate CPR/First Aid, Universal Precautions, medication and safe sleep training for staff and volunteers.
• Lead HMSAC, ensuring qualified professionals and parent representation meet at least twice yearly.
• Support and direct medical and dental programs as approved by Health Services Advisory Committee.
• Ensure enrolled children receive age-appropriate preventive and primary health care; educate parents on referrals/resources.
• Conduct observations and screenings with health provider partners to identify health deficiencies.
• Support staff with cases involving child abuse and other medical needs, including referrals.
• Develop strategies to utilize technology to streamline operations.
• Performs other duties to support health and wellness.
