Job description

Early Childhood - Floating Teacher Assistant

Join to apply for the Early Childhood - Floating Teacher Assistant role at Acquire4Hire.

This position is at our Weston location, floating between kitchen and classroom daily. Responsibilities include preparing breakfast and snacks, serving lunch from DCE, cleaning the kitchen and dishes after meals, and assisting in classrooms to create a caring and safe environment for children. You will help implement curricula, encourage participation, manage classroom materials, promote hygiene, and assist with transitions and transportation as needed.

Base pay range: $13.00/hr - $16.50/hr.

Requirements:

  • High energy and ability to work well with others.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of child development.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must pass background check and health screening.

Preferred qualifications: Associate Degree in Early Childhood or Preschool CDA Certificate, or willingness to enroll in such a program.
