Summary

Join our amazing team at the Carriage House Early Learning Center in Breckenridge! Carriage House is hiring a full time and part time teacher who is able to "float" between our classrooms to join our amazing team! Located in Breckenridge, CO, we are a play based school utilizing the Creative Curriculum, as well as the Pyramid Plus approach to support social and emotional growth. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young children, love the Colorado mountain lifestyle and are flexible and adaptable to new situations. We care for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years with incredible ratios, a strong team, great pay, and a full benefits package at 30 hours/week.

Duties

• Support implementation of daily lesson plans and care
• Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth
• Provide for teacher planning time and cover breaks
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
  
  

Requirements

Great attitude, flexibility, and willing to learn

Ability to work well with others and adjust to different classrooms and ages

Must clear full background check

Full time work schedule (4-5 days/week)

Part time work schedule (2-4 days/week)

Nice To Haves

Colorado Early Childhood qualified teacher or holds a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential

Experience with young children in a group classroom setting

Early childhood coursework
