Job summary

New Horizon Academy is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to join our growing team in Dubuque, IA. You will inspire, encourage and celebrate children’s love of learning every day as part of a caring staff. Applicants must meet state qualifications, have a passion for working with young children, and be open to education in early childhood.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
