Job summary

Cadence Education in Bondurant, IA is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to guide young learners in a nurturing, safe classroom. You will support daily routines, implement Cadence Signature Programs, and build positive relationships with children and families.

This role emphasizes safety, licensing compliance, and collaboration with the School Director and Lead Teacher. A degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with state licensing experience; CDA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for the center.
• Background clearances and health screenings required.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
