Qualifications

• Experience with children aged 3 months to 5 years in a formal childcare environment.
• Must hold a Child Development Teacher Permit or higher.
• Ability to implement age-appropriate developmental activities (literacy, art, music, etc.).
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in classroom settings.
• Ability to communicate with parents and conduct regular conferences.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to model UCSD Principles of Community and support diversity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Observe and document child progress using assessment tools.
• Maintain safety and appropriate adult-child ratios at all times.
• Interact with parents and schedule Parent-Teacher conferences.
• Assist with attendance records, notices, and assessments.
