Job summary

South Texas College is seeking an Early Childhood Educator I to assist in day-to-day infant, toddler, and preschool classroom operations. You will help plan and implement curriculum that promotes physical, cognitive, and social/emotional growth while maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.

You will supervise children indoors and outdoors, observe and document development, and collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with licensing standards and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Ability to work with a team to resolve problems and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing curriculum for infants to Preschool.
