Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 college credit hours in Child Development/Early Childhood.
• At least 1 year of experience in a childcare center.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and adhere to health and safety policies.
• Support daily lesson planning and observation/documentation of children’s development.
• Assist with meals and ensure sanitation and compliance with CACFP requirements.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and students; supervise and guide children indoors and outdoors.
• Assist with coordinating field study students and work-study participants.
