Job summary

YMCA of the Treasure Coast is seeking a Preschool Teacher for 3-year-olds. You will design and implement engaging activities, support social and cognitive growth, and maintain a nurturing classroom environment. Collaboration with a caring team ensures a high-quality early learning experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, or an associate’s/bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, plus preschool experience and CPR/First Aid certification. DCF 45 hours preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children and knowledge of development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage young learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with families.
• Support children's emotional well-being and positive behavior.
