Role Description

This is a part-time, (2 days/week) on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator located in Issaquah, WA beginning in September. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for supporting developmentally appropriate lesson plans, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment, and engaging children in hands-on activities. The role also involves collaborating with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and ability to work effectively with children
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and best practices
• Creativity Skills and ability to support engaging, hands-on learning activities
• Excellent Organization Skills and ability to manage classroom environments
• Experience in an educational setting and working with young children is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
• Early Childhood Education background or related field
• Specific trainings and certifications can be attained after hire. (CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers, Early Childhood Basics 30 hr, TB test)
