Join to apply for the Early Childhood Educator role at The Kidz Club PPEC.

We are looking for engaging caregivers to lead our childcare efforts to promote fun and stimulating programming within our pediatric skilled nursing facility. The Caregiver is an essential role in the total quality client/family coordination of care in a multidisciplinary method under the supervision of the nursing staff and the program coordinator.

The Caregiver provides direct client care and is responsible for assisting with activities of daily living to promote the child's independence. Our Caregivers encourage engagement in developmentally appropriate activities and collaborate in planning a daily schedule.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a clear, concise manner.
• Basic personal computer skills and familiarity with electronic charting systems.
• Childcare and/or healthcare experience preferred.
• A current negative Tuberculosis test (PPD) is required.
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification is required.

Positions Available

• Full-time
• Starting Rate: $12.00 - $15.00, with increases based on experience and pre-set qualifiers.

Provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, with medical complexities. Facilitates communication among pediatricians, therapists, and families, ensuring continuity of care and enrichment for the child's betterment.
