Qualifications

• Experience with children birth to 5 years in a formal setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree, 72 credits, or passing the Para Pro exam for Highly Qualified status.
• Preferred: CDA or Early Childhood Education AA or 72 credits; Step 4+ on Oregon Registry Online (ORO) or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support safe, inclusive learning environments for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and high school-aged students.
• Perform record-keeping and basic clerical tasks to support program operations.
• Assist in planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Confers with the Coordinator, parents, and community partners regarding student progress and objectives.
• Prepare learning centers and materials to support daily activities and routines.
