Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; preferred CDA/AA in Early Childhood.
• Associates degree, 72 credits, or Para Pro option qualifies for Highly Qualified status.
• Two years post-secondary education or higher improves candidacy.
• Step 4 or higher on Oregon Registry Online or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and behavior of infants to high school students.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain daily routines, record-keeping, and material preparation.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and community resources.
• Support parenting teens with developmentally appropriate resources.
