Early Childhood Director - Holy Family Early Childhood Center

Holy Family Catholic School Early Childhood Center (ECC) seeks a full-time director. Our mission provides a nurturing, Christ-centered educational environment to children one to four years of age. The ideal candidate must be a practicing Catholic with a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in curriculum, faculty development, and faith formation for our youngest learners.

Position Overview

The Early Childhood Director is responsible for the administration, oversight, and growth of our early childhood programs which supports the growth of our K-8 school. This leader will ensure the delivery of high-quality Catholic education while fostering a safe, faith-filled, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development and implementation aligned with Catholic values and educational best practices.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate early childhood educators, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and accreditation standards.
• Develop and manage the program’s budget, enrollment, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Cultivate a welcoming and supportive environment for students, families, and staff.
• Strengthen faith formation within the program, integrating Catholic teachings and traditions into daily learning experiences.
• Collaborate with parish leadership, school administration, and diocesan offices to align early childhood education with broader school and Church goals.
• Engage with parents through regular communication, events, and volunteer opportunities.
• Supervise the operation of the center facilities in accordance with state/county laws, fire regulations, and local building codes.
• Maintain a neat, secure facility and a safe and pleasant outdoor area, ensuring compliance with playground safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• VPK Director Credentials.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership role.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, committed to Catholic education and values.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, school, and parish leadership.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
