Job summary

The Goddard School in Fishers, IN is seeking a Director who brings energy, leadership, and a passion for early education to oversee daily operations and foster a nurturing, high‑quality learning environment for children, families and staff.

You will lead staff, ensure licensing compliance, implement policies, deliver our Wonder of Learning program, engage families, manage budgets and enrollment, and uphold a positive school culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 1+ year in a leadership role (Highly Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with families and create a positive school experience.
• Strong sales and enrollment mindset with the ability to conduct tours, convert leads, and support school growth objectives.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
• Conduct regular safety drills and uphold emergency procedures.

What You’ll Do
