Job summary

ECS4Kids seeks a Center Support Assistant to join our Northeast/Central Florida team. You will assist in classrooms, support language, cognitive, and social development, and help implement age‑appropriate activities within a nurturing environment.

Reporting to the Center Manager, you’ll maintain records, promote family involvement, and ensure safety standards while supporting children from birth to 5 years old in a distributed program setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child growth and development and developmentally appropriate practices for children birth to 5 years
• Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children
• Ability to exercise proper classroom discipline and maintain records
• Ability to implement the approved curriculum
• Willingness to learn and continue education

Responsibilities

• Assist in the classroom as needed
• Familiarize self with the day’s planned activities
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities for each child
• Provide a nurturing environment and uphold ECS Discipline Policy
• Develop nurturing relationships to support social and emotional development
• Maintain compliance with standards and safety procedures
• Communicate with families and encourage parental involvement
• Maintain records and portfolios as needed
