Breck's History

Breck School opened in 1886 in the small town of Wilder, MN. Many changes have taken place over our 135 years of operation. What has remained constant is that Breck inspires and prepares graduates to live lives of intellectual curiosity, self-knowledge, and social responsibility.

To support faculty, Breck offers annual professional development opportunities including training seminars in Mind, Brain, and Education and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, coaching with Innovation Specialists, and attendance at regional and national conferences to help you thrive in your role and career.
