Job summary

Child Development Schools Georgia is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working with the Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth in a warm, safe environment.

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and commitment to child safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing/ratio requirements.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
