Job summary

Children of America in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join a supportive team of educators. You will help deliver daily lesson plans and foster a safe, structured, and uplifting learning environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before & After Care, and Summer Camp.

Daily interaction with children, families, and staff will require clear communication, creativity, and empathy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 6 months experience in licensed childcare.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans.
• Assist in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
