Qualifications

• DCF Introductory forty-hour Child Care Training (40 hours) with Part I and Part II, plus five-hour Early Literacy/Language Development, or completed within 90 days of hire.
• Current Level 2 ACHA background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for children in assigned groups within the developmental framework of social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
• Assist in creating an environment and experiences conducive to a child’s growth and confidence.
• Support children's growth through interactions with adults, peers and their surroundings.
