Job summary

Child Development Schools, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Dallas, GA to support the Lead Teacher and create a welcoming, engaging classroom where children feel safe and excited to explore.

You will help deliver age-appropriate lessons, supervise activities, and build trusting relationships with families. You will observe and document child progress, assist with daily reports, and participate in training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Engage with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with attendance and daily reports.
