Child Development Schools in Snellville, GA is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in a warm, nurturing classroom setting. You will assist with lessons, supervise activities, and help maintain a safe environment for young learners.

As part of a collaborative teaching team, you will engage children through stories, hands-on activities, and daily routines, while building strong relationships with families and documenting progress and attendance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing ratio requirements.
• Engage with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with attendance and daily classroom reports.
