Job summary

The Learning Experience in Hickory Creek, TX is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Little Learners from infancy to preschool. You will deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe and clean classroom, and communicate progress to families through our app.

Must be available to work until 6:30-6:45 PM Monday-Friday. We welcome candidates with a High School Diploma or GED, ECE coursework preferred, and 1+ years in childcare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years’ experience in childcare preferred.
• Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support fun learning environments by helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create safe & happy spaces by ensuring TLE standards and protocols for clean, safe, and organized classrooms where Little Learners can explore and learn are adhered to daily.
• Monitor growth and development of understanding key milestones and celebrating their progress.
• Build relationships and communication with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments via our mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
