Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in preschool or child care facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain a welcoming classroom environment that supports secure, respectful exploration.
• Support development across physical, emotional, social and cognitive domains through structured and unstructured activities.
• Assist in following routines and positive behavior management under the Lead Teacher.
• Observe and document children’s growth and learning progress using appropriate tools.
• Communicate with families to support partnerships and parent-teacher conferences.
• Follow health, hygiene, and safety protocols to keep the classroom clean and organized.
• Collaborate with staff and administrators to support school goals and best practices.
• Adapt activities to accommodate diverse learning needs and developmental levels.
• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to stay current with early childhood education trends.
