Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our classroom team. You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging activities that foster curiosity and confidence in young learners, creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe and excited to learn.

Assist with classroom activities and support the Lead Teacher
Observe and document children's development and progress

Responsibilities

Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing and ratio requirements
Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
