Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degrees preferred.
• Experience in licensed childcare or preschool.
• Demonstrates empathy and compassion for young children.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong classroom management and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare materials and maintain a safe, inviting learning space.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Communicate with families about progress and activities.
• Follow health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Support daily care routines and a nurturing environment.
