Job summary

St. Stephen's Child Care in Wisconsin is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher for a part-time, afternoon-focused role (15-25 hours/week) with no weekends. You will create a fun space for children to learn and thrive, support their development, and work as part of a cohesive team.

Qualifications include being at least 18, able to pass background checks, CPR/First Aid within 3 months, and a positive, flexible attitude. Prior childcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Pass background checks
• CPR/AED First Aid training within first 3 months
• Passenger of working with children is essential
• Willing to obtain SIDS and AHT trainings if not already completed

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Opening

Requirements

• Meets the qualifications for an Assistant Early Childhood Teacher, or willing to obtain within 6 months
• CPR/AED First Aid training within the first 3 months
• Understands child development
• Has the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
• Has previous experience in the early childcare field (preferred, but not required)
• Positive role model
• SIDS and AHT trainings completed, or willing to obtain immediately
