Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Reports to: Lead Teacher

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Non-Exempt $19.19/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

Seacoast Waldorf School has an opening for a five‑day Early Childhood Assistant position in a Nursery classroom with children ages 2.5 – 4 years. The role requires love and patience for small children, Waldorf training or childcare‑related college courses, or prior experience with children. Applicants must be prompt, reliable, and possess good time‑management skills.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must pass the State of Maine Child Abuse Check and Maine Criminal Record Check/background clearance.
• Must be CPR and first aid certified.
• SWS will provide training if needed.
