We are a Reggio-inspired, constructivist program which joyously integrates quality Jewish and secular education.

Responsibilities:
  1. Care for the physical and emotional well-being of 9-16 children in your class, including planning curriculum based on each individual child's and the full class' interests and emerging interests.
  2. Help maintain a safe and aesthetically-pleasing indoor and outdoor environment that allows children to explore, play and create.
  3. Provide documentation of what the class is learning, through displays in the classroom and school and via our online app, Kaymbu.
  4. Communicate effectively with your team, with families, other teachers, and the school administration.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Background in early childhood education and 1-3 years’ experience in early education preferred.
  2. Ability to work well as a member of a team, ask for help, accept feedback, and offer your own creative ideas.
  3. Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care's "Strong Start" certification within 90 days of employment.
  4. Sense of humor and appreciation of the developmental joys of young children.
  5. Ability to actively interact with children including kneeling, bending, running and sitting on the floor and in small chairs.

Our school is open from September until early June and follows the Brookline Public Schools calendar, plus additional Jewish holidays. Conveniently located in the Longwood Medical Area in Boston, we are less than a mile to Coolidge Corner in Brookline and easily accessible by public transportation. We are proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits for full time (30+ hours) employees, including: paid time off, holidays, health and dental, retirement, parking/transportation subsidy and discounted tuition for children of staff.
