An established early childhood center is seeking a nurturing Assistant Teacher to join their dedicated team. The Frances Jacobson Early Childhood Center (FJECC) at Temple Israel, named one of "The Hub's Top Preschools," has an immediate opening for a caring and nurturing Assistant Teacher (Toddler). We are a Jewish early childhood program within a large Reform Congregation and serve a diverse community of students ages 20 months to 5 years old. We are a Reggio-inspired, constructivist program which joyously integrates quality Jewish and secular education.
Our school is open from September until early June and follows the Brookline Public Schools calendar, plus additional Jewish holidays. Conveniently located in the Longwood Medical Area in Boston, we are less than a mile to Coolidge Corner in Brookline and easily accessible by public transportation. This is a 10-month position, with the opportunity to work for all or part of the summer at Temple Israel's summer camp.
We are proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits for full time (30+ hours) employees, including: paid time off, holidays, health and dental, retirement, parking/transportation subsidy and discounted tuition for children of staff. The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 for a full time position.
