Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eligible for Federal Work-Study program.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with early childhood settings preferred.
• Complete required training and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with preparing materials and daily lesson plans.
• Monitor children during activities and transitions to ensure safety.
• Support routines: handwashing, meals, snacks, toileting, naps.
• Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution.
• Perform classroom housekeeping and prepare snacks and cleanup.
• Assist with documentation and communication with parents as directed.
