Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of college study (48 hours) or higher.
• Associate’s degree or higher requirement.
• NC NCRC via ACT/WorkKeys or Paraprofessional Test (pass 455) or OGET test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teacher on instructional plans.
• Assist with classroom lessons and activities.
• Facilitate small and large group activities.
• Facilitate center activities.
• Support the class behavior plan.
• Supervise children during plan periods, lunch and recess.
• Assist children with restroom needs as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

2 years of college study (48 hrs)

Associate’s degree or higher

National Career Readiness Certificate (ACT/WorkKeys)

Paraprofessional Assessment Test - passing score 455
